crytek nerfing the shredder quickly and only removing the revive bolt much later (i think it was still around after the event even?) proves they mostly listen to reddit and redditors didn't actually complain much about it. it took post-event surveys + time calibrating those results and future patches to make the decision even though every non-shit player basically quit the game by then because of what the game became.
what led to shredder being nerfed hard was some rachtaZ clip getting huge replies on reddit and the revive bolt was mostly praised by retarded bugmen going on about their 80 iq wifey now being having a "healer role" tagging along in their 2 star adventures, this is most of reddit when it comes to any game. the revive bolt was also pitched by homereel, with this exact logic, having your reddit gamercouple DnD enthusiast curvy wifey tag along in a difficult niche FPS full of CS pro rejects and russian hackers, with no gaming experience and making it a safer wholesome 100 bayou space.
the hunt sub is retarded and every other week they are still suggesting "revive beetles" and other nonsensical childish cancer because they started playing the game 3 weeks ago and already made it their whole identity to get upboats with their new cartoon style scrapbeak tattoo.
clash was also way better for a few days when they changed it to 4 teams max, but then redditors cried that it wasn't pointless casual "run around with romeros like a retard for 2 minutes" and it got reverted quick. all that was necessary was keeping it for a few days more and idiots would adapt to actually turn clash into what it should be, skipping the clues to get a decent fight with varied loadouts and playstyles.
instead all the shitters sat around dumbfounded at spawn as usual while the one team that was aware, took bounty and safely walked to extract unnoticed.
they also took a really long time to increase levering cost, also put fast fingers at 6 cause redditors thought it OP LMAO
