Did anyone ever make a decent HDMI mod for this thing? I remember a few years ago when the first composite mod came out, and it had a few issues such as the wrong aspect and other problems. Soon another came out that fixed a few of them, then another, then another. Feels like every week a new and better composite mod was coming out.

Then finally the first HDMI mod came out, and it had a boatload of problems. Wrong aspect, lag, took so much power that alkalines and even most rechargeable batteries did not supply enough voltage to let the GBA even power on when HDMI enabled, and others I likely forgot. So I waited thinking there would be new better ones coming out like the composite mods... and waited... and waited...

Did nobody else ever make a HDMI mod for this thing that does not suck? I was looking to at the minimum replace my GBA's screen with a better backlit one and install a HDMI mod on it, maybe others like a sound amplifier mod, but nobody seems to have ever improved upon that first shit HDMI mod that came out like how the composite mod was being constantly improved.
