Based off everyone here praising Tatami Galaxy I watched the first episode and it felt like reading western high literature. It's definitely coming off a bit pretentious and I'm surprised with how everyone here was saying it is not pretentious at all and rather a simple show. Maybe the rest is less snobby we'll see.
