True. There were websites and webrings in the mid-1990s dedicated to Japanese video games that never came out in the United States. Even back then, we knew all about SD3, FF5, Bahamut Lagoon, Wonder Project J, and so on. We even had ROMs and some half-decent emulators. I remember waiting a long time to finish a download of a 4 MB Chrono Trigger ROM, and splitting it up with PKZIP to fit it onto some floppy disks.
