I think it's just that you're thinking of it as porn, in which case yeah it doesn't show very much and isn't prolonged or detailed. But it's not intended to be porn, it's a non-pornographic traditionally released canon comic featuring a graphic gangrape. It's quite novel, I can't think of many pieces of western media containing gangrape at all let alone a visual depiction of it.
