Same here. Warhorse could have just as easily dismissed the idea. Just like most developers would. Though for whatever reason. They made the bold decision to allow it's main male leads to become potential lovers in the narrative. I don't think I've ever seen it before.

Sure there have been games that featured romance between male characters. But more often than not they are relegated to side characters that bear little relevance to the main plot compared to their straight counterparts. The most you can get in other games is by having a cast consisting of companions who are bisexual like in Baldur's Gate 3. Otherwise you get the shortend of the stick.

I still remember knowing about the leaks and still harboring that sense of doubt. It wasn't until I saw the kiss for myself where it truly set in. They did the seemingly impossible and I am grateful for that.
