I didn’t say a BCD is a felony. I said it’s like a felony. There’s a very good chance it will show up on any employer background check. Certainly anything with the government. No security clearance, civilian or military. If your employer asks to see your DD-214 or your discharge code, you are fucked. Civilian jobs don’t usually give a fuck if you have a general discharge. They will give a fuck if you have a BCD. It’s a horrible first impression. Your best chance is to not mention it and hope it somehow doesn’t come up.
