At this stage, it's pretty crude and rough, but this is one of the best works I’ve seen in the last seven threads, pure fun. I think if you focus on refining the yellow area, you’ll end up with a great piece.
You're at a stage where learning how to study and analyze references can really push you forward. Maybe try analyzing Kill la Kill artwork, it might help you overcome many of the roadblocks you’ll face with this piece. Keep going, I want to see the progress :)
