We rented a house with a pool. Set up the connections, the TV, and waited for the appointed night. The waiting was hard, I was sure I had done everything right but for something like this there is always a little doubt. Eventually the tv turned itself on and there was static, then the picture of the well, then the woman with long hair approaching the camera and slowly she began to climb out in to the real world.
Things then got trippy as machines whirred to life, electricity crackled along cables and the air grew heavy with magic and tension.
I saw Ami starting to struggle with the chains holding her in place, thankfully Athena and Clara stood fast. I wasn’t honestly sure the measures I had taken to contain them would actually work. Eventually and unceremoniosly Sadako actually stumbled out of the Television set looking around confuses.
I moved up and greeted her. I tried to calm her down and offer her a new chance at existing as something other than an angry spirit doomed to kill people. At first I wasn’t sure if she was listening or readying to attack me but eventually she settled down. I asked her if she wanted to travel with us and she agreed. That’s how we broke the curse of girl in the well.
