For anyone who's curious, Novamark is NOT a build. You have to manually cast the mark or you will get fucked. I think it only exists for cold DoT builds to have 100% uptime on their vortex in pinnacle bosses.

The real issue with Novamark is that you can't play it with Mark on Hit while you're mapping. Any monster you kill with a mark on it will still be marked after it dies, and all your damage will go on its corpse. That's no big deal if you have other rares to mark, but if you only have regular and magic mobs to kill, then all your damage is flying off two screens behind you instead of killing the monsters in your face. Novamark actively harms you while you're mapping.
