The spectacular thing about leftover women is that the name would have you assume that China must have too many women, while it's actually the POLAR OPPOSITE.
Think on that, Chinese women are in the minority so they can practically choose any man they like granted that they're not too old or fat.

But since women are so picky, when given abundant choice they will ponder their options forever and grow old and worthless in the meantime.
That's how these leftover women come to exist. They sat down in the restaurant of life, were handed a 50 page menu, couldn't pick a meal for six hours and now they're getting thrown out because the restaurant is closing.
The opposite of this problem would never occur btw, if there too many women then some guys will get multiple wives and others will still choose to marry early and just have a normal wholesome monogamous relationship for life.

China is proof that women shouldn't get the right to choose their own partner, for a start.
