These are office buildings, typically you don’t live right nearby.
The office building I was working in (pic related) was lit like that, but they turned it off past a certain hour.
Plus… you know… curtains exists.
The fucking NOISE was a real nuisance though. Right next to my place there was a kindergarten which was blasting the same fucking joyful kid music every single early morning. To the point where the COVID quarantine felt like a relief.
And when it’s not kid music, it’s construction work. This shit, I really don’t miss
