Yet we're in a setting where aggro is once again extremely dominant yet removal is getting worse instead of better. Removal has regressed from "Terror sidegrade" to "Murder with random bullshit upside" despite aggro being even more powerful now than back then. We're seeing boardwipes that are only playable after the game has ended multiple times over, in the mythic slot so you can't even say it's bad for the sake of draft.
I mean hell, look at the state of Pioneer, which has Fatal Push legal and it's doing bumfuck nothing against monoR aggro because literally every card threatens the game by itself in aggro now.
