Come discuss the worship and conjuration of Ishtar, Inanna, Aphrodite, other historically related deities/spirits, and their entourages.
"Appearing in more literary compositions than any other deity, Inanna embodied endless complexities and contradictions: an unbridled goddess at once upholding and destroying the status quo; a passionate goddess engaging in romantic and destructive erotic love; a heavenly goddess who trod the underworld; a feminine goddess who was sometimes portrayed as a bearded warrior; and a mercurial goddess bestowing tender mercies even as she moved freely from one conquest to another."
"[Astarte] is often paired with Baal and also — in a warlike form called Astoreth — with Set. The Mesopotamian goddesses Ishtar and Inanna are other forms of this goddess. The mysteries of Inanna and Dumuzi, Ishtar and Tammuz, and of Astarte and Adonis, were an influence upon the Egyptian mysteries of Isis and Osiris, in which a Queen Astarte appears. Given the combined influence of the cult of Isis, and the Syrian Goddess, on the later Christian cult of Mary, Astarte is among the most influential and important of all Classical deities."
If you're interested in working with the Queen of Heaven, the best things you can do are to start meditating, making offerings, and maybe banishing. Preferably do all three daily, or at least a few times a week. This will get her attention and improve your ability to communicate with her, as well as generally train your occult abilities.

>Are you guys not embarrassed at all?
This is opening up with a Puritan angle. Ancient societies depicted Inanna, Aphrodite, and Venus as nude in public places. The nude body wasn't something to be ashamed of but to be celebrated, and who is more beautiful than the Queen of Heaven?
>What do you think a Goddess would feel
Inanna doesn't have me under a microscope recording every action I do. I imagine she feels a slight bit of desire when I look at those images. But we don't have a public temple, so much of the worship is private. Consider this thread as a gathering and meeting point where we can discuss Inanna. There's not much discussion, but it's good to know there are other people out there.
>an excuse to post borderline NSFW anime girls
If I just want to coom there are plenty of other boards for that. It's just a common courtesy to post an image because people take time to read your posts. Ishtar-rin basically has a good amount of art to keep the board lively.
>mirror regarding whatever the fuck you are doing here.
That's the neat thing: everyone has their own relationship with Inanna. There's no one 'correct' way to worship her. Some work with Astaroth in Goetia, others follow a revivalist method, others design their own rituals and offerings to her. A lot of us have multiple gods that we follow.
>Sometimes I hope there is nothing after this
Okay that's your belief then.
>pathetic shit I've done in pursuit of satiating my perversions, not only known to someone else
I suppose you have tried Semen Retention? Again Inanna isn't some paparazzi that's going dig up your dirty laundry, you're relationship with her is in the here and now, what's the past is the past.
>What the fuck is going on in your heads anons?
My head is fine. Polytheism is a normal religious practice.
>What do you hope to achieve?
A good and lasting relationship with Inanna, so she can make life just a bit easier, while I give thanks to her. Simple things really.
