Gameplay wise? I don't think there is much. There is a mechanic where if you die too much it summons a demon copy of you that will try to kill you and steal all your souls.
Everyone I see who has played a review copy or demo praises the atmosphere and setting so far. It seems like it's the first chinese made game to really go all in the depravity and grim dark nature of chinese dynasty collapses, rampant cannibalism included. In some of the levels you see corpses being strung around and mystery meat being chopped on tables.
