Make sure to finish off tarkov shooter line as fast as possible and get mentor as well so you could start psycho sniper as soon as possible (you need lvl 10 bolt action rifles for that). The sooner you have a chance to finish it off the less overall you'll have to use bolties. You'll probably continue to try and finish psycho sniper well after you finish off sbih but you never know.
My favorite sniping map was reserve, not woods like the other anon suggested (I've done psycho sniper there so it's not like I'm talking out of my ass). Yes, most of the spawns are dogshit BUT after that it's smooth sailing. I've noticed not many people are aware how many angles they are exposed to so you can get lucky shots (some of them easy above 100m). DO NOT go sniping from dome, it's a bait for timmies, there are too many spots that you can be sniped from. At best you can camp red rebel exfil 15-20min into the raid (I've got like 2 kills like that). My favorite spots were the ones marked on pic rel
1-the top of the building, you can prone and have vision on dome, pretty good vision on routs that are visited by pmcs
2-roof of barracks, pretty good vision as well
3-good vision from toilets to dome, I've gotten many kills like that, and also good control on the hermetic door switch
4-not as many angles as dome, pretty good vision on manhole and area between black and white knight
