Splatoon still feels recent like a brand new IP, it’s so crazy how it’s 10 years old and is getting a spinoff with Raiders, Inkling making an appearance in Mario Kart was pretty cool, it’s impressive how Splatoon survived the Wii U, even more impressive than Fire Emblem being saved by Awakening, which was an existing franchise since the 90s while Splatoon is a 2010s franchise.
