Beats me. I do declare my mods, which I know will bump the price up a tad, but it might also be because I live in a shit area and am 29. That was the cheapest I could find at the time, and it was still about £150 cheaper than anything on comparison sites, too. I've just done a quick check on Go Compare now, and cheapest quote came back at £584, which would still be the most expensive of all my cars, but hopefully that's a sign that the price will drop when it comes time to renew or find another policy.
