I've been playing this game for 13 years and the rapid decline post-stormblood has always been there. the problem is that newfags and new players didn't understant the formula and the drip fed content cycle so they shit their pants at OMGG LOOK AT ALL THIS CONTENT even though it's been barebones for years.
as an actual real veteran and not a stormbaby, shadowbab, endsperm, etc. it's always been there. if anything i'm just glad it's coming to light and the insufferable playerbase is finally opening their eyes. it's a shame what the game has become and i refuse to tell people i play it now. coomers and modders ruined the game but they are just a piece of the pie that inevitably killed FFXIV.
