>That's inhuman and barbaric, to want* to eradicate a people for being poor.
Dang typo. Ironically, I met a lot of homeless veterans of the US military when I was homeless.
Ain't it funny how I care more about these people as a Muslim. There was some GWOT vet here who said he knew what Wudu was because of it.
Wudu, that's when we wash up for prayer. All this talk about washing feet, a Muslim has to wash his own feet five times a day to pray.
Islam teaches you how to wash your own feet, it disciplines you from dawn to dusk in daily Salat prayers, it gets you off the bottle and the junk, most of all it gives you a reason to live.

I recommend that all Muslims pay Zakat (obligatory charity) and Sadaqah (voluntary charity) to the homeless veterans of the US military.
Many are addicted to drugs and alcohol and would benefit immensely from simple charity and invitation to Islam.
Some ideas
>A warm meal
>Socks, blankets
>Water and snacks
>Free Korans in English
>Packed lunches and food
>Pamphlets on Salat and Five Pillars
I invite Christians as well to this righteous effort. If you help the homeless, you will end up helping homeless veterans statistically.
The most effective way to preach Islam in the USA is to do righteous deeds for those in need while inviting to Islam.
Thank you for reading.
Barakallah.

I have been homeless. Being homeless is not a good time. It is a state of pure survival.
When Sitting Bull was invited to NYC to re-enact scenes from the Wild West for the amusement of crowds, he found something strange:
He had never seen a people who would allow their own to starve and freeze to death. He had come from a world where people simply took care of each other, a tribe. He stayed in a tent and gave away all his earnings from the shows to the homeless.
When I was homeless, it was the compassion of Christians as well as some Muslims that left an impression, as did the many homeless military veterans who had been tossed aside like broken equipment.
I still find it strange, like Sitting Bull, that we live in a world where so many people are simply uncared for. It has been like this for a long time in our history. These days it is worse than it once was, entire families made homeless by economic hardship. Entire tent cities propping up.
After being homeless I had a career in Wall Street, and I learned that these investment banks were holding well over ten million homes completely empty as investment properties, compared to about 700k homeles people. Homes held completely vacant, and as I would later learn as a carpenter, market up and sold at insane prices with criminal usury mortgages.
I saw that there was something fundamentally wrong with the economic state of this country and that greedy bankers were at the center of it.

The Americas were Christianized through a violent genocidal conquest that surpassed the scale of the Holocaust yet you find it malicious that I peacefully invite you to Islam to save you from suicide and addiction?
I am not here with a sword to conquer you and take what you have, nor to establish an enclave that is alien to you. I am reaching out to you directly to peacefully invite you into my religion and to serve the poorest among you.

>too poor
>not the right color
>doesn't look like me
Do you not find it strange at all?
That I care more about these poor Christians than you do?
We must help the poor, it is an obligation of our religion.
And to invite them into our religion as well, our Ummah.
We are an Ummah, the community of God.
Community, another form of love.
The materialist world is so cold. It is a selfish culture. At the core of it is fear, fear of ending up like this. The Ummah is warm and we take care of each other.
I do not worry about acceptance. Social status. My concerns are about my obligations to my religion and my people. My duty to God. Am I doing enough for my God and my Ummah? That is what worries me.

We will shame you, Uncle Sam, you have forgotten and abandoned the poorest Americans to third world conditions.
We will gather nations to do the job you have failed to do, not as warmongers, but as humanitarians. And when we must, we will defend our people from oppression and injustice.
This is not Hollywood, this is the real America. This is not a show, this is our lives. Our revolution is not an act of aggression, it is an act of defense for our liberty, our future, and our dignity.
Your avarice, your anxieties, they are apparent by your grotesque decadence and by the walls you build against your own people. In the coming years, we shall multiply our numbers and our righteous deeds as you prepare for the inevitable struggle we must wage against you.
As you descend into godless depravity and stray from the Light of the Most Righteous we will build as those faithful to Him the foundations of a new nation where all of us can share a future.
An America that sits firmly in the loving arms and acceptance, secure support, of the Ummah. An America for all of us, not a nation impoverished and oppressed for rich corrupters and pretenders.
