Yeah man you picked a cool but really difficult one, weird angle, some perspective, strange pose, and a ton of very subtle form changes going on. You have the same problem as me where you tend to over exaggerate curves, even subtle ones. Great for gesture, really bad for drawing figures. The only thing I can do to deal with it is lots of visual measuring, and to use the enveloping or block in method of drawing to keep myself in check and slowly chip away at things. If you start from the large shapes first and work your way down towards the smaller ones instead of doing it the other way around, you'll have an easier time doing an accurate drawing.
You don't have to go full enveloping mode if you want, and can try to make a figure out of as many long and general straight lines as possible, then break those up into the more accurate smaller lines, until eventually you've made curves.
