Horse? I guess it depends on the resources. If gasoline was everywhere then a car is a no brainer but I doubt it. However I’m certain in the early stages of the apocalypse there’s abundant food right? So the horse can be fed for a while. It can go over rougher terrain and provide companionship. It can also be quiet in the right conditions. Of course a car has the advantage of being able to carry more, be shelter, and run over zombies, however fuel is such an issue. But horses are still good pack animals
