It's not even just Heidi, now that I think about it. The other minor female characters tend to be WAY more entertaining than Wendy. Some instances:
- Leslie, the girl who was secretly an AD in the PC Principal arc; great twist villain in a series when you usually expect Cartman to be the Big Bad
- Classy, the black hoe in that same arc; her taking no shits from Nathan and slapping the shit outta him is hilarious to watch
- Alexa, Stan's AI wife from the COVID specials; say what you want about her, but I love how she's designed to be a darker version of Sharon to Stan's Randy, yet in the end she does help him solve the mystery (in her own way...)
Compared to all of that, modern Wendy is just... bland. Dull. There's nothing fun about her anymore. All of that died when her original VA died, and nothing has ever been the same since. Again, why should we still care about her when the latest episode shows that even Stan doesn't care about her anymore?
