NTA but “it” was used for humans when the gender is unknown and it is clearly singular. “It’s me!”, “I heard Ann had a baby, is it a boy or a girl?” “It is a boy!” This whole “you can’t use “it” for people! It is dehumanizing!” Is something that only became a thing in the last couple of decades so much that we still have plenty of media still with “it” used to refer to people and nobody bats an eye for example cards like this.
