I feel like weapons in DeS and DaS1 had a certain heftiness to them that they just never had again. Each iteration weapons felt more and more weightless as the games got faster and faster;
I don't care if it's easier, I really liked the almost turn-based slow combat of the first two games. I never understood people who play these games for the difficulty, for me the best thing about them was always the exploration/dungeon-delving, finding new areas and enemies and tackling them like a puzzle, instead of an over the top reflex check.
