Kind of yeah. I think that's a sort of good comparison only this is a lot more comedic and self depreciating than Tanaka. Reading through the raws only 1 girl really likes MC thus far but its also hilarious why. It starts off funny, then I think its a bit too self depreciating but then it loops back into being comedy gold. I recommend reading it up to where it's translated for a feel (like chapter 28)
