It doesn't feel like your typical Shonen in the slightest. The power system doesn't make any sense and it functions however it needs to to make the story cool and fun. Great art in the manga, fantastic animation in the anime. The humor is very "Gen Z"-esque with a heavy Japanese influence.

It's like if you took Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and made it 60% more serious.
