Beat Muv Luv Alternative. I can appreciate the worldbuilding, presentation, and ambition that went into it and that it is, if nothing else, a very unique experience, but I found everything after the Extraverse arc to be incredibly underwhelming outside of some cool moments during the battles, and I never felt like the buildup of Unlimited/first half of Alternative ever really paid off. Despite the games enormous total runtime, it somehow ends up feeling rushed.

Overall a 6-7/10 with two 10/10 arcs and a really mediocre finale. Kasumi best girl

It's unfair to judge a game based on its reception but I really don't know how it was #1 on VNDB for years, even among VNs the script alone is bloated and tedious to read to such a degree that it could easily be cut down by 12 hours without missing anything
