The entire series should have been Year of Hell-esque. The ship being repeatedly ripped apart and stitched back together, lose wires, shorting LCARS panels, ripped carpet, with systems bartered for, stolen from, and killed to acquire. Janeway should have gone full Mirror and blown the borg to pieces to refit their transwarp tech to the Voyager. She should have come screaming through the device with all the fleet ships locking phasers on her until some ensign shouts "Oh my god, it's the Voyager, sir! Her ident code just came through!" and them warily attempting visual contact until a static-y Janeway appears onscreen.
