Unfortunately I think that ship has sailed and they’ve crossed the “cost effective to fix vs just replace” line…. On a side note.. if your breaking laces all the time… don’t buy “unbreakable diamond laces”…. Which 100% do live up to their name and will not break… but will instead rip the eyelets off your boots… instead… don’t tighten the laces so much… or move to a taller boot… which is what I ended up doing for more ankle support…. Rip danners, wore them every day for the better part of 4 years…. Now they have been relegated to garden boots.. and of course I damaged the same boot in both sets so I can’t just pair up the good ones…
