There is a serious cost on your heart and your mind, for lying to yourself. You start to live in a delusional state, where you think you're PC, yet you are but an NPC.
Symptoms worsen (and become permanent habit) as you grow older in age.
So be wise, and speak only what is true.
Especially, always be honest with yourself. (Except when it comes to complimenting your spouse.)

When I realized my error in creating another dev-exclusive space, I changed my server's name to 'RPG Maker Culture'.
Shifting its theme to be generally about RPG Maker and its culture.
So you're not out of place at all.
My criticism was towards the dev exclusive spaces.
