Before it was updates but now Samsung and Google have promised 5+ years which we will see. I was going to swap to Android because of that but now the problem is they don't have something that can compete with Airtags. Nothing has the precision tracking or the same network because Google made it opt in last I checked. There's been rumors of something actually from Google for years.
