Why do you care about Rank? you are either making a Legacy Uma or a PvP Uma

Legacy Umas only care about sparks, rank means literally nothing, they could even die mid run and not beat Ura Finale but if they managed to reach 600 on your target stats they could be perfect breeding material

PvP Umas only care about their primary stats, aptitudes and skills. Rank just measures overall how many stats and skills you managed to get. But it also counts shit that doesn't help you in the race.

If you want an A+ horse, choose a Sprint/Mile Uma, use a 4 speed 2 wit deck, spam only those 2 stats, hit as many G1 races you can, buy as many gold skills you want.
Congrats you have an A+ 12600 score horse that is literally useless against anything outside career.
