I’m not specifically anti-Christian, I’m just anti-blindly-believing-a-perceived-authority-figure. It’s lazy and makes a mockery of a person’s God-given ability to discover Truth for themselves. I suppose my beliefs are summed up pretty well in this copy pasta:

I use to post that very frequently along side this: >>40727913 but don’t actually post it that any more bc my views have evolved over time and, thru trial and error, I’ve found that this reality is a bit more nuanced than what I was previously posting. Although I’d say the overall sentiment of that copypasta still hold true, I don’t see it quite as black and white as I was painting the picture during those years. Tho I do still think it’s good advice and works well as a foundational worldview.
Just as I’ve said itp:>>40729243 and many previous posts in other threads: I place immense importance on the notion that people should never blindly believe anyone about anything, ever. Simple as. Belief is the enemy of KNOWING. Go test shit out for yourself. Dont give your power over to fictional stories, entities or narratives that were handed to you by obviously corrupted institutions of power. Live by the golden rule and be an objectively good person.
