Green skin is nice. And the appeal in them being little hedonistic degenerates is fun and different from Yordles. That said, they’re rapidly being subsumed into the gestalt “cute imp” archetype anyway. The goblin race in Critical Role’s new TTRPG literally looks like a Yordle.
