it's probably the best retro platformer I can think of. Wario Land 4 is also great but GBA isn't really retro
SMB3 / SMBW feel like you're walking on ice, the weight and momentum is shit whereas Yoshi feels perfectly tuned
the SNES DK games are pretty weak. the player sprite takes up way too much space and it's far too zoomed in to be a decent platformer
