The only fight I can really clear on dire mode is the robot because I happen to have the ideal Skirk team. I could barely kill the water guy if I reset enough but it would be with basically 1 second left on the clock. Absolutely can not kill the fire dragon. No chance. Simply do not have the characters for it.
