the bare glass feels like absolute shit, especially with the hard plastic apple pencil tip. Ipads also have inherent wobble with diagonals that I couldn't stand. They feel okay to draw with with a screen protector, but those wear down pretty quickly.
For a standalone, the magic drawing pad is the only reasonably priced tablet that offers etched glass and feels incredible to draw on and I can never recommend them enough. I actually sold my kamvas studio 16 in favor of it because it fills the portable niche way better.
For a dekstop tablet, literally anything with etched glass will feel about the same, and anything made within the past 4-5 years will have a very similar drawing experience. I've used a kamvas 22 plus for 3? years now and have no complaints.
Avoid shit with screen protectors, which I believe the 22hd has. Avoid overpaying for new wacom, it's an absolute ripoff.
Posting work because the freak that will probably respond to this never will because he doesn't draw.
