G-Witch has an excuse of sorts: Ichiro Okuichi, the undisputed master of shoving pointless plot points into a script. You could give him a Wan Piss-number of episodes and it still wouldn't cover everything he has on the table.
Quax doesn't have that issue. The themes are character motivations are clearly stated, but they aren't elaborated to the extent that they should. For instance, >>23316999 is just looking for pretext for a script that doesn't have any room to breathe.
