Pray for me anons. I got the HH: AoD boxset to fill out my army but I’m stupid enough to have made a mix-match paintjob my theme. I’m not good at this at all and am stuck trying to de-Dark Angelfy some Deathwing Knights (FUCK molded chapter icons and fuck greenstuff) because my guys are fuckedinthehead Blood Angels but Marines I can do….it’s just a lot

Thanks for the replies, can’t add the others. Bout what I expected from here a half of kinda “fuck you and your nu marines” to other half “depends on the people you play with”. Figured that was the case and fair points all around.
I asked about color cause my guys are actually orange, not red-my camera just sucks.
Got no problem with Heresy Marines and it’s 2/3s of my army. Bayonet Bolters n all. The only other makeup is mk7s with only 2 true primies, cause Castellan doesn’t deserve that tag he’s just a big boy. Those are shame on me once, shame on GW the other cause they stopped putting “Primaris” on the title so I had no idea till I pulled it out. I’m more a narrative loser than gaming so I had no plan to make it army viable till recently. Hell, there’s no edition where I would be allowed to use my Death Company as is-they’re Veteran Vanguards done up, half lightnin claw’d. Figured I’d have to keep them out anyway, both narratively and points wise.
Good to know Rhinos are ok and 3k doesn’t sound bad at all. Cheers.
Ps these new termies look like complete ass. Same aesthetic sense as the 40k Centurion. It’s jarringly infantile, especially since the rest of that box is mk3 gritty grills guys. I hope for all you long time players the rules don’t suck, because that thing sends out all the same red flags the Primaris did. Think I’ll be grabbing the dusty Age of Darkness box at my local store instead….
