It was supposed to be a classic point and click game, but when the kickstarter got way more money than Tim was expecting he figured well let's do a larger one. He then wanted a game that was purely done in the art style of one of his colleagues, Nathan Stapely. The project was mismanaged, and it turns out one artist cannot do all the art for a high quality point and click game in one year. Time and money were running out and their finance guy pitched the idea of splitting the game in two, to use sales of part 1 to finish part 2. Eventually the game was finally forced out.
