Been gone for a while, and I've decided to reboot my runs alongside 4chan getting rebooted itself. Twist is I will be replaying hacked versions of the games to spice things up a bit. Here I'm playing Red++; for those unfamiliar with the ROM, it's basically Red+ with some new content, QoL changes Pokemon, moves, the Phys/Spec split, bug fixes and trainers. Other than that, it's still Red--the singular Special stat is intact, and all that Gen 1 jank goodness.

My team got absolutely mogged towards the end of Mt. Moon because there's a one-two punch of a Rocket Leader with a high level Murkrow, and the Fossil dude has a shiny Umbreon. Besides that, it's been an uneventful run. Mankey and Weepinbell made Brock and Misty respectively a breeze.
