The Trausch grip is admittedly pretty cool and gives a nice grip. However, on the SP101, it requires a long spur that attaches to the grip peg, otherwise the grip peg would only go about halfway down the grip and not be very secure. The Trausch grips for S&Ws are better looking since they look just like the MR73 grip and better secured since the grip frame runs almost the whole length. Pic related, the stainless one is a rental. Sadly though, the Pachmayr Professional does a better job of dampening recoil (at least in my opinion) from .357s.

Yeah, no shit the SA pull on a revolver is better than everything else other than other revolvers, that doesn't make the SP101 anywhere close to "decent" in the context of revolvers, or even other pocket revolvers in its class. A bad DA trigger ruins a DA revolver. I'm not shitting on Ruger revolvers as a whole, but their pocket revolver triggers are bad.
