If you feel like you can't deal with your symptoms then yes, quitting your medications or not taking them daily/or on the daily dosage your doctor prescribed will make it so that they'll be less effective. A lot of people complain that psych meds don't "fix" mental conditions permanently, or are too weak, but... It's a better payoff in terms of danger-effect in comparison to old generation mental health medications. Barbiturates and monoaminoacid inhibitors were fucking brutal on the body. Tricyclic antidepressants were shitty AF on the body. And on the near future we'll probably discover better meds with fewer side effects, or maybe some type of cure.
Don't quit when you're feeling good without consulting with your doctor. Or you'll end up breaking a tooth from bruxism caused by stress like me. Worst fucking mistake I did desu.
