These are the absolute pinnacle, the zenith of Japanese RPGs, and they're still not as good as something like Disco Elysium (a mid-tier western RPG made by a handful of broke communists in Estonia).
I think we just have to accept that while the Japanese certainly have their strengths (maintaining stable societies, women, having four seasons, creating strange flavours of Kit-Kat,etc. ), video games are simply not one of them.

I'd say it's a different type of experience. Seems like WRPG are more focused on dark themes and kind of apocalyptic or psychological aspects, while JRPG focuses more on fantasy, friendship, and horrifyingly dark themes hidden behind a cute facade. And JRPG seem more coomer-ish than WRPG.

I think it's easier to outrun the heat and cool your body effectively, specially at night, than warm up in extreme colds like these during all of the day. If you feel like you can't deal with your symptoms then yes, quitting your medications or not taking them daily/or on the daily dosage your doctor prescribed will make it so that they'll be less effective. A lot of people complain that psych meds don't "fix" mental conditions permanently, or are too weak, but... It's a better payoff in terms of danger-effect in comparison to old generation mental health medications. Barbiturates and monoaminoacid inhibitors were fucking brutal on the body. Tricyclic antidepressants were shitty AF on the body. And on the near future we'll probably discover better meds with fewer side effects, or maybe some type of cure.

Make sure to tell the doc all the symptoms you have, not just emotionally, but physically. I have to go to a neurologist 'cause uh... Theereee might be a chance Iii... Might... Have epilepsy? Cause I had symptoms WAY too similar to absence seizures. And strobing lights fuck with my head. And I've had moments during my adolescence where I've passed out in the middle of the class and lost my memory of what happened during those moments...
...and I almost never feel well rested when I sleep...
Meds can't fix an issue permanently most of the time, but it's better to be on them than grab the bull barehanded. Kinda like diabetes, once you have it, you kinda have to treat it for the rest of your life, or your quality of life will just be awful. But the same can be said with exercise for example. If you stop exercising your body will just get weaker and won't work as good. There's no pill to do exactly what long-term exercising does.
At least psych meds are easier and faster to take than exercising 1-2 hours every day for the rest of your life.
