I donated blood four times. On the fourth time, I had a newbie nurse stick the needle into my arm and the vein collapsed. Pic related was literally me watching my arm as it looked like a venomous inkblot was spreading across my skin. Never donated blood after that.
Also, I got told that I have puny thin veins and can never donate plasma for that reason.
