I don't know if this is counts as a conspiracy, maybe just a competing hypothesis, but I'm a growing believer in the "Out of (South) East Asia" model of human origin. Not that there weren't humans migrating out of Africa, but our 'earliest modern ancestors' originated somewhere south of China, or at the very least the 'novel modern human' is a product of constant waves of migration outbreeding caused by humans coming out of Africa and Southeast Asia.
