Luke 23:39 was contrary to human nature until 50 years ago:
>For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’

This verse was mystifying christian for over 2000 year and only began to make sense in the last century.
