Did we all watch the same fucking show? Finn's character with relationships throughout the show is supposed to portray a boy growing up and figuring out how said relationships work -- good and bad. PB and Finn was never supposed to work out because PB was presented as an adult in season 1 and Finn is blatantly stated to be a kid around the age of 12. PB has ALWAYS seen Finn as a child and AT has constantly shown that PB is a toxic bitch through how she manipulates her own people and how she talks shit about other princesses with Marceline.

Mordecai was a 20-something year old working minimum wage at a park that got his best friend killed for an ATTEMPT at a crumb of coochie and only ended up in a meaningful relationship during a time skip at the end of the show
