Why would it not be ok (if not illegal)? Works great, easy to carry, not dangerous in any way. Personally I don't carry pepper spray because I feel relatively safe. No bears, few (and shy) wolves, two legged predators mostly stay innacity. I probably should though, you never know what happens.
